While I have been staying at my mom’s house this week, I have made brownies 3 times. They are pretty tasty so I thought I would share the recipe. It’s pretty basic, nothing cazy.
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
~Preheat oven to 350 and grease 8×8 pan
~Mix sugar, oil and vanilla
~Beat in eggs
~Mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt
~Mix dry ingredients into sugar mixture
~If mix seems too dry add small amounts of milk(we use coconut milk) until it seems to be the right consistancy. It should be of medium consistency.
Here you can add in any extras like nuts or exta chocolate. I added in a handful of chocolate chips and a handful of shredded coconut.
~Bake for 25 minutes.
~Let cool, cut and serve.
