It is a dreary day here in Mississippi. Cloudy, rainy, but I am still in a pretty chipper mood. The kiddos are in mostly good moods too. The laundry is mostly caught up and the house is, well, mostly clean. With 2 littles, 2 cats, 3 dogs(oh yeah, did I mention we took in another. . . ) and a husband with boots that track everything into the house, it is never all the way clean. I take what I can get.
Today I thought I would share this great chili recipe with you. It is healthy, delicious and frugal. I found it on Keeper of the Home‘s blog(well, she guest posted on The Nourishing Gourmet’s blog about it). I have made it the last 3 weeks and it is a hit with everyone except for Munchkin. He of course won’t even try it. We eat it by the bowl with sour cream and shredded cheese or make nachos with it. However you choose to eat it, it is tasty and filling.
There is also a cornbread recipe in the post. I find it delish, but no one else in the house likes cornbread 😦
